It’s been a minute since I gave an update here, and I’ve got some juicy stuff to share, so let’s DO IT!

I’m super excited about this! I’ll have a lot of cool behind-the-scenes stuff to share as the new sci-fi horror project keeps moving. I plan to treat it a bit like a journal, where I’ll log progress as I go. It’ll be a good way to keep me on track, too!

I busted out the risograph and grain shaders to color this bad boy. I think it turned out pretty good! It’s a refreshing change of pace from halftone.

I’M WRITING A NOVEL?
I’m taking a sci-fi/fantasy novel writing course this semester, and our final assignment is to write the first act of a novel. It’s gonna be a lot of work, but I’m excited for it!
I’ve got an idea brewing that could be good. It involves cryptids, aliens, Area 51, and the like. I’ll share updates on Patreon.

In case you missed the Kickstarter update, the Forge/Surge/Omega comics have been printed and shipped!
I should receive them in late March/early April, and when I do, I’ll immediately start fulfilling Kickstarter rewards, then website preorders. We’re in the final stretch!
WILL PATREON AFFECT THIS SUBSTACK?
Maybe? Probably not. While I do plan to post more regularly on Patreon, they’ll be significantly smaller. I’m gonna treat this Substack as more of an open newsletter, for big announcements and when I have a lot to say. Like today!
